What does the average UK house price buy you in Swindon?

Swindon house prices are still far more accessible than in neighbouring towns on the M4 corridor.

According to new figures from Halifax Building Society, the average cost to buy a home in the UK is now £289,099, hitting yet another record high, albeit with some indications of a slowing down.

Despite the very real cost of living pressures some people are experiencing, the imbalance between supply and demand for properties remains the primary reason driving the continued climb in house prices.

So, for something in the region of £289,000, what can you buy in Swindon?
