A contemporary art gallery is to open in Marlborough High Street, following a property deal brokered by commercial property agents Kilpatrick & Co.
Nova Fine Art will be opening its doors at 137 High Street, Marlborough – bringing with it contemporary artwork and sculpture from some of the most collected artists around the world, as well as emerging talent.
The gallery opened in Royal Leamington Spa at the tail-end of 2019 and has since added a gallery in Marlow to its roster. Marlborough will be its third outlet.
The property is a Grade II listed, four storey building and was last occupied by fashion retailer Jaeger.
Extending to 1,581 sq ft, it has showrooms on ground and first floors and ancillary office and storage accommodation on second and third floors, with ground floor display windows, Palladian and bay windows at first and second floor level with attractive brick and part tiled hung elevations under a tile roof.
A statement from Nova Fine Art says: "We are fast becoming the latest gallery network to rival the large corporations on the high street. Our portfolio is made up of a mix of styles and genres, from artists such as Tori Tipton, David Rees, Ed Williamson and Piper Bridwell to name but a few. We pride ourselves on a reputation for exhibiting exclusive, leading contemporary art from both internationally acclaimed artists and rising stars in the contemporary art scene."
"Our artists who are part of the Nova Fine Art Family are all unique. Our artists work in a range of mediums, from photography, painting, and sculpture. We make sure to select each artists not only for the superb quality of their work, but also down to their passion and dedication to their craft."
"Many of the artists you will see on the walls at Nova may be new to you and with our continued dedication to this and challenging the ‘norm’, has meant we are fast becoming an integral hot spot for the latest and most exciting talent in the UK to date.
Andrew Kilpatrick of Kilpatrick & Co said: “Nova Fine Art are true enthusiasts and we hope they will do well in Marlborough with both local residents and visitors to the town able to see the artwork on display from this property.”
