Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes launch NHS 5% deposit scheme

The offer is a way of saying thank you to NHS staff for their courage during Covid-19 crisis.

Everyone deserves a place to call home – and no one more than our brilliant NHS workers who have shown such courage in the face of the Covid-19 crisis

To say a big thank you to them, sister companies Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes have launched their NHS 5% Deposit Scheme, offering all NHS workers a 5% deposit contribution (up to £15,000) towards a new home.

As an example, for a home costing £200,000 NHS workers would qualify for a contribution of £10,000. To apply, NHS buyers just have to ask one of the Barratt or David Wilson sales team who will then introduce them to a specialist New Homes Mortgage Adviser.

During the COVID-19 crisis the NHS have been working tirelessly to keep us safe, and to show their gratitude during these unprecedented times Barratt and David Wilson have been supporting them in different ways.

At the beginning of the crisis they donated their entire stock of PPE masks to the NHS, to help them stay safer. They followed this by donating their entire stock of defibrillators from their sites to St John Ambulance and St Andrew’s First Aid, to help keep our communities safe.

In response to the NHS Charities Together Appeal they then donated £100,000 to support frontline NHS staff and volunteers.

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes both have current developments at Canalside @ Wichelstowe in Swindon, while the latter also has new homes for sale at Larks Rise and Park View as part of the Tadpole Garden Village development.
