Wigwam is an online property and lifestyle magazine that brings you the latest property news from across Swindon and the surrounding areas.

Wigwam was set up with one overriding purpose, to give a voice to Swindon’s property sector and by extension, promote Swindon as a thriving, modern town and share positive news and lifestyle features that support the Swindon property community.

Since our launch in April 2020 we have been sharing ‘good news’ stories about the property sector in Swindon and the surrounding area. More recently, we’ve added a healthy dash of lifestyle features, interviews and business reviews.

In that period of time, we have built fruitful relationships with platform sponsors and advertisers who value the ongoing exposure they receive on the website, social media and magazine.

Whether your business is property development, estate agency, conveyancing, property finance, interior design, building or lifestyle related, Wigwam provides a great opportunity to showcase your products or services on a premium website and in a premium magazine.

Here are some of the things we can do for your business.

• Publish news stories in the quarterly Wigwam print magazine

We’re really charitable

We’ll be supporting carefully selected local charitable organisations to promote their services and fundraising activities via our digital and print outlets. This will be a ‘free to use’ service for these charity partners.

Nathan Sandhu - Co-Founder & Creative Director

Running Jazzbones Creative in Swindon’s Old Town for nearly 20 years, Nathan has a long track record working with well-established property businesses in the residential and commercial sectors, both locally and nationally. His acclaimed work with forward-thinking estate agents Richard James when they went through a 2019 re-brand is just one example. Nathan brings all his marketing experience to the table when working with clients to secure the best coverage via the Wigwam platform in order to meet their business goals and requirements.

'Jazzy' Jeff King - Editor

Jeff is a former football journalist whose writing CV also includes fiction, politics and music. Despite editing Wigwam and being fascinated by the property sector, Jeff is not a man to ask for financial advice; he invested in properties in London and Barcelona immediately before the house price crashes of 1990 and 2008 respectively! As a born masochist he is a Red Member at Arsenal. When they lose to Tottenham, he consoles himself by listening to sad records by Chet Baker. On his Wigwam days off, Jeff studies History of Art at Oxford University. Surrounded at Wigwam by designers, his favourite saying is “a picture paints a thousand words but a choice word seals the deal”..

Claire Phillips - AKA 'The Magical Mummy' Lifestyle Editor

Claire is Wigwam’s Lifestyle editor, and there isn’t anyone who knows how to lifestyle it up better than this lady. Just check out her Instagram @themagical_mummy! Not only is she a former PR and marketing guru, who has previously worked with some major clients and rubbed shoulders with some top celebs, but she is also a proud white Witch and mum of two young children! Claire describes herself as a lover of the written word and has always been fascinated by people and how they respond to communication, both through the written word and body language. She believes we are all individuals, and that life isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation, regardless of what some clothing brands would have you believe.

Sarah Baker - Lifestyle Blogger

Lifestyle blogger and columnist @sarahfrombath often leaves her beloved city for West Wiltshire when city life needs a countryside balance. It is where she can be seen walking the Cotswold Way, eating and drinking in the best foodie establishments, although pubs are her passion, or shopping for quirky fashions. Sarah is a marketing and social media consultant and there’s not much about Instagram she doesn’t know as she manages various accounts for businesses across Bath, Bristol and Wiltshire. She lives with a bearded tattooed giant and three teenage girls all of whom are now taller than her. Keep an eye on her passion project too @worship.the.ground if you are also a colour lover.
